Joey made it to great lakes safe and sound! We spoke for just a little bit, then he had to go. But he said he might be able to write in about a week or so! And possibly call in a month! Can't wait. We have had little sleep, the kids are really missing their Daddy, I think it will get better soon! I have  had the girls in bed with me... but they are sleeping so that is good! Look for our next email.

Joey made it safe and sound to OKC.  He will go to Great Lakes tonight and call me when he gets there.... that will be the last time I talk to him for about 9 weeks! We all slept his first night away! First day pretty good and my BFF will be here on Friday!

Well, Joey leaves on Wed! So the count down has begun again! I am ready to get this part over! So I am in the mind set of BRING IT ON! Kayla's last day of school will be on Thursday. Then the summer is on! So many plans with great friends! Trips to the zoo, library, pools,splash pads! I can't wait. Please keep Joey in your prayers, he is very excited about his new adventure!

Well, I have not been on in a while! We had a small glitch with Joey's ship date, it has changed and worked in our favor! Joey now leaves May 27th! That puts him away till the end of Sept.  I had a wonderful Mother's Day! And I am thankful he was home to share it with me! I LOVE this man!!! I will keep everyone updated on his progress at boot camp, I will get a phone call when he gets there and then letters!
